Community Nursing
The function of the Faith Community Nurses (FCN) ministry within our congregation is to promote healthy lifestyle , guidance in navigating health care systems, emotional support and education regarding diseases.
We offer monthly Blood pressure screening and referrals, health promotion bulletin board information, health education classes, hospitalization and post hospitalization home visits. The Registered Nurses are available by telephone (813)996-3533 or email the church office, or speaking directly to one of our nurses at church gatherings. All information provided to FCN’s is private and non disclosed personal health information. Additionally, FCN’s provide referrals to local agencies that can help meet needs of our congregants. FCN’s assist family ministries during programs such as VBS, potluck dinners, Mission Smiles, and picnics. Monthly maintenance of the AED is also provided by the FCN. Currently, our 2 FCN’s are Jennifer Barrolo, and Lisa White. We are always looking for health professionals and those interested in congregation health promotion to join our ministry.

God’s Gardeners
We have a group of volunteers that do the mowing and another that takes care of the gardening. These two groups do a great job and save us twenty thousand dollars a year. These groups of volunteers are getting smaller and if we do not have more volunteers to help, we will need to start paying to have the mowing done. No experience is necessary and we have all the equipment.

We are Always Looking for New Servant Hearts. We welcome all levels of musical ability to join our Music Ministry team in helping us fulfill our Ministry Purpose, Mission and Core Values.
Being a trained musician (voice, instrumentalist, drama, or dance) is not necessary (but of course welcome). The most important thing is that you keep a great attitude, willingness to learn, desire to grow and the ability to match pitch. The ability to read music is helpful but not necessary. If you have a passion for singing, being part of the Praise Band or sharing your gifts through dance or drama we look forward to seeing you in rehearsal!
