Visitor Information

We’re a community of people who are discovering or have discovered what it means to find life in Jesus, to follow him fully, to break free from our past, and to walk in victory together. That’s who we are.

First United Methodist Church has a long history of being in ministry in Central Pasco County here in Land O Lakes. You will find a mix of opportunities here, including both traditional and modern worship, several small group offerings, and various missional pursuits. We have activities for all ages, including children and youth. You are welcome to join us for any of our worship services, ministry programs or events.

As a United Methodist Church, First UMC Land O Lakes (#FORLOL) is part of the Methodist movement that has changed the world. We are proud of our Wesleyan roots and affiliation with the United Methodist Church. You can read more about specific statements of belief by visiting UMC.org.

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating and that’s why we have a welcoming team who would love to meet you and show you around. Please be sure to introduce yourself as a first time visitor so we can guide you and give you a gift.

Our services consist of worship through music, a time of teaching, and are approximately an hour long. Our Pastor teaches out of the Bible and brings messages of truth, hope, and love.

9:00 AM – Traditional Worship (Mask Required if not Covid-19 vaccinated )

This service will feature traditional songs and hymns accompanied by piano or organ, along with a Choir.

10:30 AM – Modern Worship (Mask Required if not Covid-19 vaccinated )

This service is designed to be a relaxed worship experience. The music style will be similar to the majority of the music we currently enjoy on Christian radio.

Youth and Children are also welcome to remain in the sanctuary with their parents for worship during either service or they may take advantage of the Family Ministry Opportunities described below.

9:00 AM and 10:30 AM – Family Ministry Opportunities

Family Ministry for Children is provided during worship time in the Spiritual Life Center, where they enjoy high-energy music, a lesson, games and lots of other fun.

Youth are encouraged to attend and participate in the Modern Worship services

Youth and Children are also welcome to remain in the sanctuary with their parents for worship during either service.

Nursery and Preschool is available for both services.

9:00 AM and 10:30 AM – Adult Groups/Sunday School Classes are available with a focus on topical studies, current pastor’s message series, or studying biblical text.

We have parking available all around the church campus with handicap parking located near the entrance of our church building. Campus Map

We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing! We want you to feel welcome just as you are! Our dress code is simple: wear something.

Food and Drink
Grab a hot cup of free coffee, water and pastry between services and sit wherever you’d like.
